where to put my gin basket?

So....just built a modular reflux still with a "botanicals basket"... should in your opinion, the basket go before the reflux condeser, or after it?
the still is a 1.8 meter high collumn of 3" copper tube, the lower 1200mm being full of stainless scrubbers then a triclovered segment (either botanicals or reflux condenser) then the next segment, then the crown then the leibig condenser.
thanks in advance for any help/advice you can give.

Of course above the reflux, otherwise you would partially separate the aromatic substances from the steam. So first they are added by the botanicals and after the column they are separated again...

My personal opinion: the best would be to remove the entire column at all, since this device causes a higher alcohol concentration in the steam flow. The higher the alcohol content, the better the extraction effect, but the more unwanted taste, like bitterness or woody flavor, you will receive too. So for best gin quality, don't use a reflux column.
